Motor protection relay tripped

Modified on Fri, 8 Sep, 2023 at 8:31 AM

Problem:

The message "Motor protection relay tripped" appears on the monitor.

Solution:

The motor circuit breaker has tripped, possibly due to a missing phase or machine overload.

Check the power supply to see if a phase is missing and/or the voltage selector plug (number 4) is in the correct position.

Switch off the machine and open the cover of the control box.

Locate the motor protection switch F1.1/K1M under number 5 and switch the motor protection switch back on.

Switch the device on again and check whether the error message occurs again.
